Unfortunately, this problem is more common than we'd like to believe.

When someone is caught, they tell only what they absolutely have to tell - and no more.

 

There's a basic human survival mechanism in most of us that means we don't want to voluntarily disclose things that we know will create bad reactions - about any issue - but especially about being unfaithful.
